Elektric Grid
Let Elektric choose the model for each request.
#Let Grid choose
Use Grid when you want Elektric to choose the model. Send model: "elektric-grid" and Elektric selects an eligible model for the request. You can also omit model where the API supports Grid as the default. The public compatibility identifier remains elektric-grid; elektric-grid is accepted as an alias.

Availability depends on the models eligible for the request and the API surface you use.
#If a model fails
Before output begins, Grid can switch to another eligible model if the selected route fails. Once streaming output has started, Elektric does not silently restart the response with another model.
#See what Grid chose
Usage Logs show the model Grid selected along with status, latency, token usage, fallback activity, and provider cost where available.
Use them to understand how Grid handled a request or compare it with Wire.
