Using the service

You may use Elektric only in compliance with applicable law and these terms. You are responsible for your account, projects, API keys, applications, prompts, outputs, and the activity performed with your credentials.

Acceptable use

Do not use Elektric to harm others, violate rights, evade safeguards, disrupt the service, probe systems without authorization, distribute malware, or engage in unlawful activity. Elektric may limit or suspend access needed to protect users, providers, or the service.

Pre-beta availability

Elektric is provided as a pre-beta service. Features, models, routing, pricing, limits, and availability may change. The service may experience errors or interruptions and should not be relied on for safety-critical or legally regulated decisions without appropriate independent controls.

Prepaid service credits

Funds added to Elektric are prepaid service credits used for eligible API usage. Credits are not a bank account, deposit, or stored-value product, and have no cash value except where required by law. Pricing and usage records in the service determine credit consumption.

Third-party services and AI output

Elektric uses third-party providers, including AI providers. Their availability and behavior are outside Elektric’s direct control. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable; you must evaluate output before relying on it.

Intellectual property

You retain rights you have in content you submit. Elektric retains rights in the service, software, branding, and documentation. You grant Elektric the limited permission needed to process submissions and operate the service.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the pre-beta service is provided “as is” and without warranties. Elektric will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Changes and termination

Elektric may update these terms as the service develops and may suspend or terminate access for misuse, risk, nonpayment, or legal requirements. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
